At our main office in Contern, Luxembourg, we are looking for motivated new colleagues, interested in utilizing their affinity towards numbers and analytical skills to quickly become an expert in their field of responsibility.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Take ownership in communication with internal and external customers and act as a single point of contact for all finance related topics
  • Resolve billing queries by using your knowledge as a subject matter expert to dive into financial results and provide root cause analysis
  • Evaluate actual expenses and clarify deviations with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure proper month end closure of customer accounts
  • Ensure correct cost allocation as per customer requirementsEnsure accurate billing throughout the entire global billing cycle
  • Monitor cash flow  by  securing in-time payments
  • Prepare financial reports on logistics key indicators (e.g. turnover, volumes, freight expenses and savings) relevant for the business to provide data transparency and support the decision making process
  • Financial risk assessment  (e.g. currency fluctuations) on different business and financial results

Your skills and experience

  • Affinity  in the field of accounting and/or logistics - Both is seen as an advantage
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) - Any additional language is a plus
  • Affinity to systems, numbers and have an analytical mindset - Oracle system knowledge is a distinct advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office (with focus on MS Excel) - Knowledge of VBA and/or SQL is a plus
  • Customer-centric mindset and team spirit
  • Reliability and autonomy
